• I loved the story Cowhey told on page 194 about the mother who had different ideas about how Cowhey should be making her son behave in class and the mom even asked for her son to be moved to another class. So Cowhey asked the mom to volunteer in the class. I thought this was a really great approach to showing the mom how Cowhey actually managed her class and I love at the end of the story that the mom actually requested that her son be placed in Cowhey’s class for the following year. Cowhey always comes up with unique ideas and that is specialty. This episode of asking the mother to volunteer was one such idea. I have understood that if you want to be a successful teacher then you need to find out news idea now and them to spice things up , to solve problems in an innovative manner and to engage with the students.
